01/28/08 - Finally, I can actually see some light at the end of the tunnel. Tonight was George W Bush's final SOTU. FYI, this is a year where both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur in the same week. And as it has been pointed out, 'It is an ironic juxtaposition of events: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.' Here's one serious observation about Bush's SOTU speech, what the hell is up with all those losers who were seeking autographs from a President with a less than 30% approval rating? The "friggin" speech was a laundry list of previous speeches, he answered few questions and tried to spin his failures... that's all I heard. I had no idea the writers strike extended all the way to the WH. My God, these autograph seekers have to be the same idiots who stop and stare at car wrecks and train wrecks... because the last 7 years are nothing more than one huge train wreck!
Study: Bush led U.S. to war on 'false pretenses' 935 of them to be exact. |
Deservedly, Bush is the most unpopular president -- EVER!
Three in four Americans think the country is off on the wrong track, matching the highest number recorded in the twenty-five years since CBS News began asking the question. Only 19% say it is headed in the right direction, matching the all-time low reached last June. Concern about the direction of the country is accompanied by growing alarm about the condition of the economy.
American Research Group: A total of 64% of American voters say that President George W. Bush has abused his powers as president. 53% say the abuses rise to the level of impeachable offenses and Mr. Bush should be impeached and removed from office.
By 64%-31%, Americans disapprove of the job he is doing. For the first time in the history of the Gallup Poll, 50% say they "strongly disapprove" of the president. Richard Nixon had reached the previous high, 48%, just before an impeachment inquiry was launched in 1974. GWB is special alright! Let's impeach his sorry ass!

“The Iraq war is now costing $330 million a day. That could pay for 1700 more border patrol agents, or provide health-care for an extra 45,000 military veterans, or the funds from just one day in Iraq would give 270,000 more kids coverage under SCHIP.” Also, the U.S. State Department is unable to account for most of $1.2 billion in funding that it gave to DynCorp International to train Iraqi police, a government report said Tuesday. "The bottom line is that State can't account for where it went," said Glenn D. Furbish, who was involved in putting together the 20-page report for the special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction (SIGIR).
The Department of State's Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) "did not have the information needed to identify what DynCorp provided under the contract or how funds were spent," the report said. As a result, the audit agency announced it has suspended its oversight of the agency's project until INL gathers the information. Toward the end of the Clinton Administration the Price of a Barrel of Oil was Below $20, Now It Has Reached an All-Time Record of More than $90 a Barrel. As Far as Bush and Cheney are Concerned, Mission Accomplished. Hey Bush Supporters: Embarrassed Yet?
Hell yes, he's the worst ever.... George W Bush, "President Phonics" is the worst President EVER!
'No Modern President Has Experienced Such A Sustained Rejection By The American Public' - Huffington Post and Washington Post.
A pathetic excuse for President In his quest to be the best, Bush has now hit 25% approval. He looks more and more like Nixon with each poll. According to a new American Research Group poll, just 25% of Americans approve of the way President Bush is handling his job as president and 71% disapprove. These are record lows for the survey. When it comes to Bush's handling of the economy, 23% approve and 73% disapprove. |
Who could blame him, or her? The worst president ever has his sweaty hands on him/her... funny but most of the nation feels exactly the same way.
